Our Youth

The Catholic Youth Organisation (CYON) of St. Kizito's Catholic Parish Kuje FCT - Abuja; is under the Gwagwalada Denary, which is under the athourity of the Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja.

The CYON as it is fondly called is in every Catholic Parish of the Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja.

The CYON St. Kizito's Parish Kuje, runs it's affairs under a guiding principles (constitution). the "MOTTO" of the organisation is  "Let Your Light Shine". The organisetion also have a "SLOGAN" which is "For God and For Youth" the response is "Through Christ"

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE ORGANISATION

The organisaton aims at the following objectives:

• To bring all Catholic youths together.
• To foster Peace and Stability among catholic youths.
• To assist in the propagation of the Catholic faith.
• To encourage the youth to recognize constituted authority in the church and abide by the rules and regulations of the church.
• To promote the spiritual development of the catholic youth through Bible studies, fellowship,active participation in the Sacraments and the Apostolic mission and life of the church.
• To organise and sponsor cultural sociel activities for the welfare and happiness of the catholic youths.

MEMBERSHIP

membership of the organisation is open to all practicing Catholic who are between the ages of  14 and 40.

EXECUTIVES

In order to effectively run the affairs of the organisation we have the following youths, from different social - cultural background who have come together to work as executives for the common good of the CYON of St. kizito's Catholic Church Kuje - Abuja.
